In 2014 I was one of a few township entrepreneurs to be featured in the Forbes magazine as a young, upcoming and innovative entrepreneur in Africa. ”
Why do you want to be part of UCT Upstarts?
“I would like to be part of UCT Upstarts because it will bring about the culture of innovation, and to my mind as an entrepreneur, as I believe that innovation normally comes from when you are a start up. Also I would love to share my challenges, experiences and opportunities of being a start up entrepreneur to add value to other aspiring entrepreneurs.”
HOW DO YOU ‘IMAGINE A NEW AFRICA’?
“I imagine a new Africa where there are more entrepreneurs to create more jobs, infrastructure and to build the economy to a new level of phenomenal. I see the youth entrepreneurs taking over from the government through entrepreneurship.”
