"How to create a Lean Start-up"
8 APRIL 1-2PM
Hailing from France, Arnaud’s 21 country expedition finally led him to South Africa, where his mission is to improve the distribution of social products, (solar lights, clean cook stoves, sanitary pads, water filters, etc.), in the areas where people don’t have access to electricity, clean water and other basic needs, a very common challenge for social entrepreneurs. Rather than wasting time creating elaborate business plans, he swears by the the Lean Startup methodology, (originally developed by Eric Ries), as a way to test your vision continuously, and to adapt and adjust your idea before it’s too late. (He’ll also be running a Lean-Start up Workshop Sat/Sun 10-11 April)
NB: Pop-up Class in “The Change Room” (yellow curtain) @ The Leslie Social Sciences Building/Mezzanine Level.
