POP up Workshop: "Desire vs. Permission: How to translate your idea into a memorable brand"



NB: Monday 10th is a public holiday, so we’ll see you all on Tuesday 11th. Jake Bester is the Executive Creative Director of Publicis Machine, AdReview's Break-through agency of the year. During his 15 year career he’s taken blue chip brands like Red Bull, Volkswagen, SAB and Marmite to new creative heights both locally and internationally including the global launches of the new Castrol Masterbrand, Castrol Edge and The Castrol Index starring Cristiano Ronaldo. He’s also won numerous local and international awards including Cannes, Clio’s, One Shows, D&AD’s, Loeries and Eagles. Jake believes that in designing a brand the perfect storm is a combination of desire and permission. An emotional desire to connect with it, and a logical information set that gives permission to go through with that connection.
