31 JULY 1 - 2pm

Crowd-Funding Case Study: Oliver Brain is driven by innovation, passion, technology, collaboration and left-field thinking. Today he’ll showcase how his brainchild, Street Sleeper is more than just a product. It is a social enterprise that upcycles PVC advertising billboards, destined for landfill, into survival sleeping bags and backpacks. This social innovation is transforming the negative impact of waste into immediate relief of those living on the street, bundled up in the long-term vision of enabling positive change in their lives. Today Oliver will share his story and his crowd-funding model.

We’ll also be continuing with the Thundafund Checklist to make sure you’re on track. Today we’ll be covering ‘video script’, and the ‘short and long story’ of your campaign idea. Not to be missed!

NB: Team-Meet-up in “The Change Room” (yellow curtain) @ The Leslie Social Sciences Building/Mezzanine Level.
